It’s All about Jesus

I Corinthians 2:2:
For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
“It’s all about Jesus”: that slogan equally well applies to the universe, the Bible, the gospel, and hopefully, by God’s grace, to this site. For example, see what the Bible itself has to say is the focus of the Bible, keeping in mind that the references to Scripture in these verses means the Jewish Scriptures, the Old Testament:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” - Matthew 5:17-18
Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.” - Luke 24:44-47
“You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me …” - John 5:39
As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. “This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ,” he said. - Acts 17:2-3
For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ. - Acts 18:28
Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God— the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 1:1-4
For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME.” For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. - Rom 15:3-4
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, … - I Cor 15:3-4
[F]rom infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. - II Tim 3:15
Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things. - I Peter 1:10-12
So that is where this site is headed. We have just started off, and so far it is all about Jesus. Lord willing, if this site is still growing many years from now and if Jesus has not yet taken us to be with Him, it will still be all about Jesus. There’s no danger of running out of material, because if everything about Jesus was written down even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written (John 21:25).
You are most welcome to join us here as as we look into the fulness of God’s revelation of God, which even angels yearned for in long ages past. May God use the universe, the Bible, the gospel, and even this site to make “It’s All about Jesus” more and more to be the slogan of our lives.
If you are new to this site, may I suggest starting in the beginning.
